OUR SHOWS

String Family Players offers an impressive variety of programs that appeal to diverse audiences and venues. SFP features Live Educational Programs, Live Concerts, Casual Performances, and a number of Teaching & Mentoring Programs. Additionally, SFP will plan, create and script a performance to meet the exact needs of your school or organization.

"Americana" - The history of America is alive in music. Music Center on Tour presents our newest show that not only entertains but opens a new window into the American history experience taught in our schools.

"All Strings Considered" - Introduces the stringed instruments, challenging each age group to learn the instruments' respective sounds by ear and identify them during our signature listening games. A memorable experience.

"Mozart: the Child Prodigy" - Developed with the Music Center Education Division, partial costumes and music of the period introduce the audience to popular music of Wolfgang's time. The group shows how Mozart's incredible genius was demonstrated from an early age, including compositions written when he was five years old.

Teaching & Mentoring Programs

The residencies mentioned on the StringFamilyPlayers.Com website have been such success that we know we must continue to advocate and support studying and playing stringed instruments in schools.
